About AudioToNotes
AudioToNotes turns any audio, YouTube link, or live browser recording into structured AI notes, executive summaries, and Anki-ready flashcards. We are building it specifically for people who don't want a third-party bot sitting in their meetings.
Why we built it
The current generation of “AI note-taker” products works by dialling an autonomous participant into your Zoom, Teams, or Meet call. For sensitive client work, healthcare conversations, and any meeting with a customer who notices, that pattern is uncomfortable at best and a security violation at worst.
AudioToNotes is the opposite shape. You record on the host platform with proper participant disclosure, or you record directly in your browser. We take the file afterwards, transcribe it with Whisper-class speech models, run a structuring pass, and hand back something you would actually re-read.
Our operating principles
No meeting bots
We never inject a third-party participant into your Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet calendar. You record on the host platform with full disclosure to every participant; we process the file afterwards.
No training on your audio
Customer-provided audio, transcripts, and notes are not used to train our foundation models. Your private business assets stay yours.
Encrypted in transit
Files are encrypted over TLS during upload and inside our processing pipeline. You control whether they are retained after processing.
Browser-first, app-free
Record, upload, and export in any modern browser. No installers, no extensions, no IT-department executable approval.
Where we are today
AudioToNotes is currently in early-access waitlist phase. We are rolling out invites in waves, starting with the people who joined first. There is no paid tier yet; once the public product launches a free tier will remain for short recordings and personal use.
The public surface today is mostly documentation — hand-written transcribe guides for the platforms we cover (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Discord), deep-dives on how the recording and transcription pipeline works, and industry-specific workflows for clinicians, students, executives, and content creators.
